This is my first installment of the Small Business Marketing Column. Since the members of the West Milford Chamber of Commerce are almost all business owners, I hope my column will help to open your eyes to some marketing possibilities you may not be aware of.
One question I hear from business owners time and again is, ?How to I get more people into my (store, business, restaurant, etc.)??
Well, imagine this ? Your business has no storefront! In fact, the location of your business changes every day! How will your customers possibly find you?
Impossible, you say? Read on?.

Better living through dessert?? is the Image trademarked philosophy of Curtis Kimball, better known to San Francisco as The Cr?me Br?l?e Man. Kimball founded The Cr?me Br?l?e cart in 2009 without a license, and with only a pushcart?
Curtis Kimball?s entire livelihood is from the proceeds of his dessert pushcart. He has gathered 22,000 Twitter followers in three short years. He uses Twitter to let his fans know where he will be, and come in droves they do. He also uses Twitter to announce his daily specials.
How many new customers did you get from that expensive Val-Pack a few months ago or the Yellow Pages ad you bought last year for big bucks?
If you don?t know, you should. Curtis Kimball can tell you exactly how many customers he gets each day from his marketing efforts.? His only advertising takes place on Twitter, which by the way, is absolutely free.
